I’m pretty excited about this Friday’s prompt because it involves something I really, really, really, love: ANIMALS!!! Or to be more specific, pets. The first pet I ever had was a goldfish named Figaro that went belly-up before you could say “Jiminy Cricket.” Then there’s was bird named Cucu, but I consider Rory to be my first legit pet. I think of him more as my furry son, but that’s because I’m a crazy dog lady. So it’s no big surprise that all the fictional pets on my list are all dogs… except one. 🙂
I loved Wishbone sooo much when I was a kid. The show combined two of my favorite things: dogs and books! Wishbone’s love of stories definitely further enhanced my love of reading as a youngin’, plus he’s cute as hell. I think that’s reason enough to want to adopt him.
✿ Dug from Up
Dug is super lovable and I’d be able to have legit conversations with him because he can talk back!
✿ Ghost from Game of Thrones
Jon Snow’s faithful dire wolf would be an ideal pet because he’s extremely loyal and would protect me from all kinds of creeps. And if my friends found themselves in grave peril, he’d come to their rescue too. 🙂
✿ K-9 from Doctor Who
I know he’s a robot, but he’s still a dog. And like Dug, he can talk. Sometimes I need someone to talk to when other human beings aren’t around, okay?
✿ Rajah from Aladdin
Princess Jasmine’s big ‘ol tiger has been one of my favorite Disney pets ever since the movie came out (which was a long ass time ago)! I actually still have the stuffed Rajah I got for Christmas back in ’93 too. Anyway, I think Rajah would be an ideal nap buddy (he’s so big and fluffy!), and help me ward off unwanted male suitors.
What fictional pets would you like to adopt? Let me know in the comments!
Okay, so maybe these three things I’m about to talk about don’t necessarily make me say, “Weeee!” out loud, but they do have the capacity to put a smile on my face, literally make me LoL, or just make me happy in general — therefore, they have a certain “weee!” factor.
ANDRIODS FINALLY HAVE INSTAGRAM!!! I don’t know what took them so long. I really don’t. I had been so jealous of iPhone users for the sheer fact that they get to have this uber amazing photo app on their phones that enable them to make their pictures all fanciful, and they could upload them to pretty much any effing social networking site they want to. Ugh! My sister told me the joyous news about a week ago and my mindset has basically been “INSTAGRAM ALL THE THINGS!” Rory has been my main subject so far (naturally).
You can find me under the monicker Chezfancypants. Like… if you want to follow me, or whatever. Yeah.
Tim re-introduced me to CommunityChannel on YouTube last night, run by Natalie Tran. She’s been M.I.A. for awhile, but she started making videos again about a month ago. In case you’re not familiar with her, she’s a silly Aussie girl who talks about little problems that happen in everyday like, like standing around awkwardly when you and your friend run into someone they know and they engage in conversation without even introducing you, how all the usernames you want are already taken on every damn site on the internet, or how her mother mysteriously covets things she threw away, etc. WATCH IT!
Chandler Dances on Things:
Awhile ago, someone I follow on Tumblr (I think it was Janine, my homie from Germany) reblogged a gif of Chandler Bing dancing on the dinner table of The Last Supper. I clicked the source link and found the site Chandler Dances on Things. This Tumblr consists of Chandler dancing on anything you can possibly imagine: Hogwarts, Equestria, the Death Star, the TARDIS, Pride Rock, the Sham Wow dude, Yemen, and one of my favorites, the bow of the Titanic. And today happens to be the 100th anniversary of the day the Titanic sank. Could that BE anymore coincidental?
Happy Tax Day/100th Anniversary of the Titanic sinking/my nephew Matthew’s 10th birthday, y’all! 🙂
It’s been awhile since I actually posted anything huh? I’ve been keeping myself busy by doing homework, making jewelry, goofing around on Tumblr, and somehow I managed to hangout with 3 of my best friends during the week. Tim and I had a burping contest on Wednesday (OH-SO-CLASSY), on Friday I ate lunch with Shanice and helped her find a sweater dress, and yesterday I helped Jen pick out new frames at Walmart. Good times.
This morning I went to the flea market with my mom and got the dinkiest cup of hot chocolate EVER. And it was $1.50. At least it was tasty (unlike a certain popular coffee franchise’s hot chocolate… *cough*Starbucks*cough*). Luckily, we found awesome deals elsewhere. I found a Star Wars calendar from 1981 and I plan on making collages out of the pictures in it, and I got a Leonardo action figure decked out in Indian gear, or Native American (whichever you prefer).
I also got a western-ish belt that I can put my rodeo belt buckle on. I AM SO EXCITED. But I didn’t take a picture of it, and I’m too lazy to. My SD card effing broke so I have to rely on my phone’s camera for awhile. *disgruntled noises* My mom and I also spent 15 minutes untangling a bunch of jewelry and got some nifty things.
Here’s a few other things I found:
Okay, so that’s all from me. I’ll try to make more worthwhile posts in the near future. And speaking of the near future, my Etsy store should be opening REALLY SOON. And that means my first give-away will be happening REALLY SOON too. All capping “really” and “soon” just makes things look more exciting right? RIGHT? <– okay, that’s just obnoxious now.
