I’ve had my blog for quite some time now and I can’t help but feel like it’s missing something.
That something? A weekly series! Ever since I started going to Comic Con in 2004, I’ve grown an affinity for the contemporary art scene since they [Comic Con] exposed me to so many of the wonderful artists that are out there. So every week I’ll be featuring the work of an artist I love in Curator’s Corner. The artists that I plan on showcasing I either came across at a con, found on the interwebs via Etsy, TeeFury, Flickr, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera (said in the voice of the King of Siam).
I hope you’ll all enjoy this series. Expect the first one to be up by Wednesday!

I am a long time reader, first time commentor. I am not sure if my art is your style, but I would like to share it with you just in case: http://society6.com/RachelFagiano
You can also check out my whole portfolio here: http://www.rachelfagiano.com.
On different, but related note, you had a while back written about selling your wares at a comic con and the difficulty in pricing. I thought your stuff was very fairly priced–especially for hand-crafted works. I was surprised that people had issue with your already-low prices.
Thanks for sharing your art, Rachel. Your installation pieces are awesome! And a couple of your prints remind me of Kozyndan. Maybe down the line I can showcase your art in the Curator’s Corner series? Let’s definitely keep in touch!
Thank you so much for checking out my work–I am glad you like the installation! I don’t get to showcase that as much since it is (as you can prob guess) much harder to transport/set up for gallery shows. Also I am pretty humbled to be mentioned anywhere in the vicinity of Kozyndan. Have you checked out the housewares he produced with click4art? I would love to be featured in the future and please do keep in touch!
So exciting. I can’t wait.
Can’t wait for the weekly series!
